Punk Rock, Leather, Ripped Jeans, and all of the above

Usually I am not the biggest fan of just plain old jeans. I am very particular about the ones that I put on my body. When it comes to ripped jeans though, I am the biggest fan and I cannot get enough of them. The one pair that I did have recently has been laid to rest which motivated me to make my own pair. One  of the predecessors of ripped jeans are the Ramones and the rest of the punk rockers of the 60's and 70's. I get my influence from these early punk rockers and the jeans that are worn on the runway. On the runway these jeans are taken to the next level, and when they are worn they make heads turn. I have noticed that through out the decades and all of the trends that went with them ripped jeans have never been forgotten.

Another look that I have gotten really into lately is the "punk rock" look. It is filled with my favorite things from ripped denim to leather everywhere. I have always thought that you can never get enough leather and denim in your life because no matter what you know that both of them will never go out of style. Another thing that I really enjoy about this look is that they would wear all black all the time. At the time this look was extremely controversial because it meant that the teens that were following this trend were rebelling from their parents and society. It began in the early '70s and has been carried through decades by various bands, movies, and trends.
The bands above: the Sex Pistols, the Clash, and the Ramones
